Write, issue and send your first invoice as a PDF. Starting a document. Click “New document”. Choose “Document type” and “Customer”. Check “Service date” and “Payable by”. Items, discount and texts. Write the first item or click “Choose from services”. Add more with “Item”. Under “Discount”, choose the type and enter the value if there is one. Tax rates, no tax, tax note. Choose the tax rate on each item. A suggestion for customers abroad. Choose a customer from another country. Read the suggestion above the items. Click “Apply” if it fits your case. Design and preview. Under “Styling”, choose “Farbband”, “Leise” or “Linie”. Look at the sheet to see the result. Saving as a draft. Click “Create as a draft”. Open it later in “Documents” with “Edit”. Issuing. In “Documents”, click “Issue” (issue) on the draft — or “Save and issue” in the form. Read the message: the document is issued and archived. Quote accepted or declined. Click “More …” in the quote’s row. Choose “Mark as accepted” or “Mark as declined”. Turning a quote into an invoice. Click “Convert to invoice” on the quote. Open the new draft with “Edit” and fill in “Service date” and “Payable by”. Reopening an issued document. Click “More …” on the document, then “Reopen (to edit)”. Click “Edit”, make the correction and click “Save draft”. Cancelling. Click “More …” on the invoice, then “Cancel”. Confirm the prompt. Deleting a document. Click “More …” on the document, then “Delete”. Confirm the prompt. Sending by email. Click “Send” on the issued document. Check “To”, “Subject” (subject) and “Text”, and fill in “Copy to (optional)” if needed. Click “Send now” (send now). E-invoice. Click “More …” on the invoice. Click “Download e-invoice (XML)”.
